LUCKY!!!
Lucky tat wat i can say abt mi..Haha..I having another so called "long weekend" during my book for 2 weeks in a row..yup..I booked out yst at 11.15am.Think was the first batch of the green men to take the ferry back to mainland.Had lunch with my bunk mates at mac den went to collect my new specs b4 heading home.Had dinner at home b4 joining meeting up with Kel.We went to shop ard for some stuffs for the kids for this sat event.Haha..We gonan be Aces Santa Claus tomor liao..Later in the evening, we met up with Don to have dinner at Tiong Bahru market b4 heading to Holiday Inn Atrium to prepare for sat event.Gav joined us abt later part of the nite for supper.Poor Gavian..He only get to book out at 8pm.Damnn sian.
For this week in the camp, days in there was much better prob due to the fact tat we only need to be there for 4 days b4 book out.But sadly that frm next week onwards, I will be only able to book out on sat.By the time I reached home, it will be in the evening liao..Gonna have less time to spend with my frens and family..sigh!!Anyway, nothing much happened over the week there..the same old usual routine..However yst my buddy reported sick due to chest pain den i have to cover his role as the platoon In-Charge (IC) for that day.It was such a concidence that when i took over, there was order given for stand by area inspection.So i have to rush my platoon mates to clean up the bunk, change into their uniform etc..basically oversee everything.
Actually, i do not have the intention or the urge to become any IC or wad. Frens ard mi who know mi quite well, will be suprised cos i used to be a person who love to be in control, taking the lead and organise stuffs howver not in army.My aim is to go into Officer Cadet School (OCS) and pple who have taken the role of IC will def have more opportunities for the instructors to access their performance based on their leadership qualities during tat period. But somehow I feel like slacking..not in the sense of skipping trainings this n that but in the way i be the quieter ones following ard, doing wat i have been told.Have been doing lots of thinking the past few days and realised that is not my usual self where i will take the lead.Jus now in the morning, my lecture mate knocked some sense into mi..talking abt that i have a good chance of getting into OCS while others really want to go into OCS badly but they didn't have a chance.Worse still, unexpected pple actually got into OCS while the expected one didn't..which is quite disappointing.
This spurred mi to do some soul-searching and thinking..but seems like getting no where...Jus feeling moody and dun feel like doing anything..Even mi also dunno why...But anyway, see how's it goes...Shall sign off frm here..anyway now blogging frm Kel's hse..Slacking there as usual..hahah...Buaiz!!!

I bought him a set of nike time wrist cloth. Hope you like it man..Kel, Gav,Diane and Anne bought him a bag and a cap.Haha...helping him to prepare his NS liao..To think of it, he and Mun Hoe is going in 2-3 weeks time.Hope I can see them in BMT Sch 2.Over the weekend, did some shopping..buying some presents for some kids who will be coming on 1st Oct event.Yippe..Can't wait to see them.Jus now, i jus made a new pair of specs cos my current one is framless and very fragile.Haha...Got Mildred to accompany mi and help to choose the design of the specs.Thanks gal...
Did lots of catch up wif frens which i was quite happy abt..Reallie miss them alot during my 2 weeks confinement..no forgetting my family and my mum's cooking. I shall sign off frm here..Gonna have early dinner..Mum jus bought sandwiches frm Subway..Yummy..Haven had breakfast nor lunch.Buaiz!!!
AFTER 2 WEEKS.....
At times, we were takan by our platoon sergeant..However,i feel he's at least much much more better than the platoon segerant of Platoon 3.Think my platoon serganat jus doing his job being strict and firm..but sometimes he can be quite "sia lan".If he becomes like tat, we all were be under his mercy and jus go home and suck thumb.haha...During my two weeks stay, i realised that it's good to go into the Physical Training Phase (PTP) which is abt 4 weeks..before Basic Military Training (BMT) starts.It helps me to build up my fitness frm stretch so at least i wun shagged out easily during the BMT phase. I was quite suprised that there were so feel that could do chin-ups.My officers labelled those who could not do at least 1 pull-up as "zero-fighter"..hahah...Dunno is a good or bad thing that i have been appointed to become the platoon chin-up IC..I did 14 pull-ups two weeks ago and dunno if beacuse of the two weeks training there or wad...few days back...I managed to pull 18 times..my best record so far...This somehow motivates mi to train harder and stretch my limit even more..Besides that, the food there sucks..especially breakfast and supper.Yucks!!!Today at least manage to get home to taste my mum's curry chicken n boiled soup..haha...yummy....
Anyway, i shall sign off frm here...cos now mi in parksuite using diane's laptop...shall update more tomor...yup...buaiz....

LAst fri nite, I brought Gav,Don and Kel to Sammy Curry Fish Head restaurant..Yup..It was my second time there while it was first for them. Hope they did enjoy the meal as much as i do.Aft that, I and gav went to Geylang to buy durians while Don n Kel went back to get their clothings. We met back at Gav's hse and stay there overnite. Had durian and cockles for supper.Damn shiok.Poor Kel..He dislikes durians.Hope he can get rid his phobia for durians.
Had a very huge suprise from the coaches and management team. After the event, we had dinner at east coast Long Beach seafood restaruant. Diane then presented my farwell cum birthday gift to mi. It was a great suprise for me.I didn't expect i will get a gift and even though of all things it's a handphone. Nokia 6230 Cos they were worried that i will bring in my cam-phone into tekong which is not allowed and i was thinking of doing that.haha....

Another suprise was from the xero 4 gang..They got mi a very cool t-shirt...Black in color with a picture of a drum set. It's inspiring mi to become a good drummer liao...hahah...

Today, Mildred got mi a singlet and she designed it by herself..so sweet of her!!!Sadly so sad...no time take a photo of it...prob will take one and post up aft i book out..yup...Mildred:Hey gal...anyway, thanks alot for the gift.Am so touched and happy (Pls dun float)haha!!!Seriously...reallie wanna say thanks to you again.
It was really a week of suprises and joy, moments of catching up with fellow frens and pals...It was really a meaningful week for mi b4 i am due to go in abt 6 hrs time..haha!!!

Aces & Management Team : Time reallie flies...It been one year that i have been helping out in Aces to coach participants. Through this journey, it really brings mi to realise that in life, there are other meaningful things that can be done.I found one in Aces. COACHING!!The passion grow as i helped and assist more events to students who are working every hard to achieve their A*.I must reallie take my hat off for them.Seeing them struggling,working, studying so hard for PSLE gives mi this very reason that i must help them to achieve their A*.These kids no matter how naughty, how stubborn, how lovely,how sweet, they are still my students.Though at times i scold them and flare my temper at them which i did only once cos they didn;t listen to instructions but i hope they understand that i have their interests at hand.Hope at the end of the day, they don't hate me or dislike me.
I also must thank uncle Ben, aunty anne and jesse for teaching mi along the way walking thru this journey. Without them, i wun be who i am today.The way of thinking, the ways of how to handle diff kind of diffcult situations that maybe thrown along the way.Aces is also a place where i get to noe more coaches and from there i have them added to my frens list.E.g Mun Hoe, Amelia n etc. Juu yesterady, got to know this two very sweet gals, Xue Ling & Berlinda frm Duman High School.They are classmates of Diane.They are very fun to talk too..didn't them to be "talkactive"Opss!!! They gonna kill mi...haha..anyway, being talkactive and engage into conversation easily is good.Anyway, they are fun and cool..Keep it up gals!!haha!!!
