I can't believe my block leave will end in 1 hr time and tomor i be back to camp again.ASS man!!Got posted to SISPEC (School Of Infantry Specialist).Frankly, i was very disappointed wif it cos i wanted to get into OCS but i guess all these it's fated or who knows after 2 mths ASLC training i may get transfered to OCS. Well, jus got to live with it or in short suck thumb.As what normally say going to SISPEC to Suffer In Silence, Prepared Extra Confinment.
Wanna congrats my best buddies, Nixon & Jun Quan for getting into OCS.All the best u guys..
Really did enjoyed myself over the a week long break.Catch up with Kel,Gav & Don with outings, jamming, movies & whacking pools.Jus feel so great and relaxed.Was pleased that i got an 30 GB ipod viedo, this time a black one cos got a 20GB white one.Real cool man.Got cash to spare or pple looking for good mp3 player..get it man!!No regrets abt it.haha...
Jus can't wait for the festive seasons to come.This means long weekends for mi n pple in green.YIPEE!!!Gonna be a gift exchange within the NO grp.Hey dudes..remember to up the budget to 20 bucks huh...haha...shall sign off liao...HELL TO SISPEC!!

It seems like i haven blog for ages but anyway I back with a big shout out to all.Can u believe it..I have jus finished my Basic Military Training (BMT) and no longer a "chiow recruit"..I'm a FIRST CLASS PRIVATE..haha..During these three months, truly enough the training turned us from boys to men.There were good and bad times during this period of time.My knee injury was back and was quite serious that i had to see the medical officer.He almost put mi out of course however he refer mi to see a specialist at NUH.The appointment will be tomor.Tat time, i was put on status excusing lower limbs activites for a week.However, SITEST; three days field camp was ard the corner.My officer initially didn't allow mi to participate because my status is not over yet and the camp require lots of road march and treking.Didn't wanna attach with other company for the camp, I lied abt my condidtion tat I was fit enough to take part.As expected, at the second day my knee was so sore amd painful that i have to pop in painkillers.Scrapping through the camp, next came was IPPT trial test before the actual one.This time i couldn't take the trail as i can't run and jump properly. I think i was going through a rough ride down during tat period of time.Totally felt so discouraged and down.Due to my injury, couldn't train on my legs for my standing board jump.Tat point, i totally almost give up the idea of going to Command School (OCS /SISPEC) cos to qualify for tat, one must pass IPPT.Had this concept of downgrading my PES status and be a storeman or clerk.Soon, the actual was ard the corner.The nite before, i took off some of my admin time to train on my jumping. Was very disappointing,can't even hit the 2m mark.Passing distance is 216cm.That actual day, my first jump was 208cm.Was quite suprised and suddenly there a urge of encouragment within myself.Went for my second jump and guess wad!!!I hit the 216cm mark.Was screaming for joy at that time even my buddies were jumping abt wif mi.It was a real true miracle!!HAve thank god for tat.Imagine..first trial test got 168cm, last trial test 186cm n now the final one is 216cm.CAN ANYONE BELIEVE THIS?? Haha!!Even i couldn't.
Now that i have passed out as a first class private, truly realised that i have learn quite a few thing during that three months.Beside shedding 4 kg of weight, the training,gruelling road march, field camp in extreme wet or hot conditions indeed improve not only my physical and also my mental and endurance.It makes mi realised one thing that one being phyically fit doesn't mean that he also combat fit.Morever, it was a great experience during the BMT days and having passed out frm there marks the end of a chapter and relishing into a new beginning of army life.It's Not Over Yet..Army Life Has Just Started!!
Will be getting moi posting on fri..Shall keep my fingers crossed and let pray hard.Yup...
